I'm in the process of buying a small house in MA.It has asbestos siding on three sides,am I aloud to remove it myself.I talked to the head of the city board of health,and she said I need a licened abatement person.I also talked to the building inspector in the town I live in and he said I have the option to do it myself by stase law.Do you have any suggestions? I have been a carpenter for more than 20 years and Ijust figured I would be able to do it myself,over the years I have fixed,repaired and removed this stuff,and never run into this.
