I have a hallway that was originally paneled,and then the grooves were spackled and it was wallpapered. I now want to paint the paneling and wish to keep the 'paneled look'. No problem getting the wallpaper off, but is there an easy way to remove the spackling other than chiseling it out? Anything that can help to dissolve the stuff?
