I live in a 1920 bungalow that is up on pier and beam. I was advised to install insullation beneath the floor boards (on the outside) to reduce air conditioning costs. (I live in humid Houston, Tx.) The insullation was placed between the joists outside, under the flooring. I'm concerned about mold growth, and feel that perhaps this was a bad idea. I would appreciate and comments or suggestions. Thank you.
