lift-master garage door opener

i have a lift-master unit installed about 1992-93...but no instruction book...recently, the door decends but does not stay closed , i.e., it holds closed for a few seconds and rises...how do i fix this problem?...(first email address was incorrect) Was this post helpful? Yes: or No:
