Hi Debbie,

Personally, I need more info. What's taking up the 7'? Is there 2' of brick-wall on both sides of the fireplace? Is it the plate that's 7' wide? And what do you mean, "Cut the bricks to make it smaller."?

What's the bigger picture here?
