I have mexican tile around my pool. The tile is now 13 years old. We get mildew quite often and clean it with clorox.Some of the tiles are deteriorating.The top layer has flaked apart. What causes this? Is there any way to prevent this? Identical tiles under my roof covered patio are not flaking like this. How should I care for this tile?
