Craftsman Garage Door Opener

Our garage door opener was put out of commission during a storm. The problem appeared to be that the recieving eye was broken. We replaced the eye and all connections seem to be hot since lights are lit on all components. However, the garage door still will not function. Any suggestions what I can try next?
