I have a lot of friends who have the black streaks on thier roof. What is the best solution of cleaning he black streaks and preventing more of the same to come. I have heard that deck cleaner will do the job is this true. I need something that is safe and does prevent the black streaks returning. I have heard about shingle shields where can I get them here in Virginia if needed and how and where on the roof re they attahed. .
