Greetings Dave, Odds are that you are going to have to cut it up in order to get it out. I might cut a good size hole around the drain so you could lift the tub out after you release the rest of it. (Maybe with a 3" hole saw?) After the tub is out, you will have complete access to the drain and the fitting it is conected to. Just a thought. Good luck, Jason
