Go to the hardware store and purchase a pumice stone. Yes a stone!!! I know what you are thinking - it will scratch my toilet! Do not worry... Use this to scrub your stains away. I can guarantee you, it will do the trick. I had the same problem a few years ago and this is what I was told.
