try a mild detergent and wire brush

and brush out the spots then rinse well. let dry and see if spots have been removed. if this does not work you may need to try a diluted solution of muriatic acid and water and use the same wire brush and brush out spots. then rinse well with clean water...let dry good luck. LJ
