Actually you make a very good point I am a realtor and yes it would effect the resale value of your home. Do you have room for a jacuzzi tub and a shower? If not I would go with the really nice tubs equipped with a shower you should have both every piece counts in value when you go to sell. Here in canada a 4 piece bath beats a 3 piece. shower is 1 tub is 2 and toilet is 3 sink is 4. If you have 2 sinks and a bidet on top of that it is a 6 piece bath. every piece counts.
