concrete countertops

I have recently had concrete countertops installed in our summmer home. They have been stained black, and then sealed. Under the edges of the coffee maker, I have noticed the sealer is chipping through, down to the gray concrete. The installer wants to now re-seal, then wax the countertops monthly. Is this the best solution. How does one get a flat patina on these countertops, rather than shiny? Thanks..... Was this post helpful? Yes: or No:
