urine - black stains on hardwood floors

I've read the messages about removing pet urine
stains on hardwood floors. Although the enzyme-based
cleaners like Nature's Miracle do remove the odors,
I don't know how to remove the black stains where the
urine has been trapped under something such as an area
rug. I tried Clorox, sanding lightly, and hydrogen peroxide,
to no avail. Thanks.
