After discovering a leak from my sink, upon closer inspection, I found rotten hardwood near the wall. Can I just take out rotten pieces, and cover entire floor with new plywood and linoleum. There are good boards near all the rotten wood although the joist inside the wall has rotten area. I will also be replacinn wall to find and repair leak so I mat be able to butt up the joist.
