I'll have to disagree with the last comment that was posted. You CAN remove the Black stains by refinishing the floor (sanding the whole surface). You can rent a floor sander for about $50 for 5 hours, which should do the trick. Either restain the floors a desired color or just reseal the floor with a polyurethane sealant (at least two layers of sealant). The stain should not be all the way through the wood unless the animal urinated on the same spot over a period of years, which is unlikely. Happy working.
