Somtimes if the plumbing vent isn't located in the right place, a flushing toilet can suck the water out of a sink drain trap. This will cause the septic tank smell to come into the room, through the plumbing. Also if the plumbers installed any drains without traps, this is also a place for the smell to come in. You may have to just stick your nose over all the drains and see where the smell is coming fron. B C
