I need to replace an 8'x4' tongue and groove ceiling in front of the outdoor entranceway to my house. I have purchased the wood and molding, but how should I put it together? Should I nail the tongue and groove planks to a piece of plywood or to strips of wood? Any recommendations are appreciated!
