A couple of cautions........The original counter must be sound without major defects or cracks, sanded with a coarse paper to accept the adhesive............Remove all fixtures (sink) and Backsplash(if you can) and any corner caulking .............you can only relaminate square edged counters (the post-formed curved edges are impossible)........Remember to laminate the edges first (or add a decorative wood edge first) then glue down the top.........A popular treatment is to add wood to the front edge and after laminating the top add a routed bevel or ogee edge detail to reveal some of the wood............
