I have a 8yr old high effiecency American Standard furnace. When the unit reaches a preset temp and starts to blow the warm air it only runs for a couple seconds before shutting off and cycling through the warm up stage over and over. I added 15' of pvc pipe outside the house because the pipe exited in the spot i was builing a deck and was wondering if this could have caused the problem by retarding the exhaust.
