Well after opening the tank up we found that the tie-wraps that hold the 3 floats in place had rotted off and the floats were... floating, not doing their job. Also, the brass screws holding the electrical box rotted off too. They were replaced with stainless steel. The float's wires were simply wraped around their holder keeping them in place.
