Attic vent from bathroom is not recommended. Moisture will condense in the attic as temperature in the attic should be the same temperature as the outside. I'm from Michigan
I know that this has been done on a lot of houses in the past. But not recommended today. I know its a hassle getting up in the attic and venting to the outside but you'll be glad you did. I would vent up to a PVC pipe, slope the pipe to an elbow through the eaves. I would not use that flexible hose stuff
