Mine was running through the window through a piece of plexiglass. Had to re route through plaster and brick when we put replacement windows in. Locate where you want the vent to go and cut out a 4 inch hole in the drywall/plaster. Be sure you aren't cutting into wires or plumbing and avoid the studs (I just missed one of mine, whew!). I then got a long masonry bit, smaller the better and drilled through the sheeting and the brick at the center of my hole, all the way through. This way you can draw a circle on the outside too and chip away from both sides and be sure the holes will meet. I then just took chisels and star drills and hacked away at it. With that small a hole there won't be a structural problem. Lots of work but cheaper than trying to have someone come in and drill it (unless you have more money than time). Good luck.
