I want to build a log home and this becomes very expensive I've found with the companies I've contacted. I came across log wood siding, but most of that in my area was do it yourself. I tried to figure the cost but would like to know from you which would be more appropriate cost wise? To have a company come in and build or to have a contractor come in and subcontract with a kit of log siding and inside paneling? Appreciate any input you could give. Thank you
