but dont know about the particular model of Hampton by fan you have ....but usually the remote is an add on option to the normal pull chain switches for both lights and fan ...These switches should be obvious so if you dont see them ...then your model did not come equipped with them. usally too..there is at least a wall switch...keep looking...otherwise your remote control unit or the receiver portion on the fan sounds defective.
