I have a 23 year old "Heil" oil furnace that a service technician told me that the combustion chamber has a crack in it. Since the furnace is very old, I was interested in an article or "unbiased" information on what some of the better models for oil furnaces were. What I would like is what models have the lowest rate of problems and have high efficiency. I looked in the library at a book listing the efficiency of furnaces but have had no luck in finding imformation on the quality of furnaces. Can you help me?
