recessed lighting wiring

I`ve installed a 4 bulb recessed light in my house. The jucntion box has four lines coming into it-1 for the pantry, living room, the hot line from circut box and one for the kitchen where I put the light in. I`ve connected all the wires and all the rooms are working ecxept the kitchen. The light came on but it will not shut off by the switch. The light has 4 wires, two from each balist plus a ground...The juntion box has 4 black and 4 white plus the ground. I don`t know why the other rooms lights and switches work and the kitchen does not...Thanks, Jim Was this post helpful? Yes: or No:
