Linda, I would probably use Tri Sodium Phosphate (TSP)--available in the paint department of your home center. Follow label directions. You might find that one of your regular home cleaning products--strong and in a spray bottle--will work as well and be more convenient but the TSP will work great and is less expensive. You should have some left over from your last painting project. Henry
