I remodeled my home turned a cape into a two story. the contractor failed to tarp an exposed roof and water came thru my walls and celings. the insuarnce refues to remove the walls that had the water running down thru them and I simply am not convin;ced that this is within my best interst.Water came thru my windows and down into the basement. My thought is that the insulation took on water and whatwas not absorbed run downhill. I am at a loss. Do I pursue this further and insist on walls and ceiling being removed and cleaned?
