I am considering buying a home that has oil heat and baseboards....I don't know much about oil heat but hear it is very economic. What bothers me more is haveing to look at the baseboards throughout the home. Can the baseboard units be replaced with more attractive alternatives? Can oil heat be converted to electric?? Central air has already been installed?
