We just bought our house a year and a half ago. We live in an association which does not cover the roof. Our roof leaked and ruined our accoustic ceiling which we just had done when we bought the house. The leak also ruined our carpet which we just put in when we bought the house. We have a flat roof and the leak has soaked all the insulation which can only be replaced by ripping out the whole ceiling since we have no attic.
