i live a few miles from the beach in LA and have a Valencia orange tree in my back yard. I'd like to cover the area below the tree with decomposed granite. Now it is covered with grass and weeds and I'm looking for inexpensive drought tolerant ways to landscape my property.
Does anyone know if decomposed granite will allow for proper drainage so that my tree will continue to thrive?
