Have bad smoke smell in apt. Could be air ducts, carpets, but probably not walls b/c they've been painted. I read latex paint is best for the walls.
So far, from all I've seen on this site:
1. Kleen-air for the air ducts
2. Have evaporator coils of A/C cleaned
3. Drastic: have air ducts professionally cleaned
4. Carpets cleaned with enzyme treatment
5. Your ozone generator? I'm a bio major so not sure what this will do??
