I am a painter and I am painting brick apartments that were built in the 50's. The apartments have a lot of mildew. I have bleaced the areas, plus used an additive in my paint. The mildew keeps coming back. The apartments are made of plaster and brick and are on a crawl space. I have suggested to the owners of the apartments that you have to get to the souce, which is the moisture in the crawl space. They do not want to spend the money to get to the souce. They think that just adding an additive to the paint will eliminate the problem.
What do you suggest for getting rid of the mildew.
Thank you.
