I bought a house where the previous owners removed the old heavy metal radiators and put in baseboard heaters. There are only three on the first floor which is not enough to heat the downstairs area (regular radiators upstairs - no problem). These baseboard units leak and the water is rusty. How can I bleed these? DO I need to? Would it be advisable to replace them with radiators? If so, where would I get those?
