I was lucky and was able to remove my wallpaper in master bathroom with just hot hoter in a spray bottle. However, the original LIGHT coat of what was called a paint job in my hone when it was brand new also peeled off in some spots, not too many. My concern is, now I am at the point of removing the residual glue or paste but when I wet the wall with DIF I'm afraid I will also be wiping off old paint. Is that okay? I do plan on painting the wall when the rest of the prep is done.
