You should not equate dollar cost with quality and durability in paints. Check consumer reports where the test a boat load of top dollar and lower priced paints. For example, I'm sure you would approve of Pratt and Lambert paint. It's on the high dollar end. Guess who makes Wal Mart's brand of paint. Pratt and Lambert and it is a whold lot cheaper.
