In 1997 i purchased a honeywell f50f electronic air cleaner.this is a model thats fits into your duct work.it has stopped working and my hvac contractor cant fix it because honeywell is doing a qa on this model and is not releasing any parts. it was guaranteed for 2 years so i guess i am out of luck. i have contacted honeywell about it and the only answer i have received so far is that the part is backordered. so what do i do now ? as a temporary solution my hvac contractor supplied a paper type 20" x20" filter that fits in the box where the electronic cells went. if any of you have any suggestions at to the type of air cleaner is best i would appreciate a reply. be sure to use a header about electronic air filters as i just dont open every piece of e mail i get. thank you
