I peeled off all paint on my radiators because I find that they are more efficient without all the paint. And yes mine we chipped and peeling. What I did then was to use that antique paint that you can get at a craft store, gold is what I used and I used a sponge to apply. Looks like orignal emits more heat and looks great.
