I am considering a purchase on a 40-year-old home. The exterior siding is mainly brown and gray and actually looks like roofing shingles. Anyone familiar with this type siding? Is it commonly known to contain asbestos? Should I negotiate with the seller to maybe have the siding painted, or can this type siding even be painted over? Please help!!
