depends on where the leak is coming from

most likely the leak is coming from the tank itself and that is not repairable. if the leak is coming from the drain valve or an external loose pipe joint then these type leaks can be fixed post back with more specifics about where the leak is coming from i.e. is it coming from the tank itself. or other location. how old is the water heater ? lJ
