Well, carpet is out since I have allergies, it is just never a good idea to have too much carpet around when you are allergic to everything :) Not too mention all of the materials are seasoning in the house right now :)
Great idea to check with the MFGR, I just keep getting told (by resident 'experts') that I am causing myself more work by ripping up the old tiles. I really like the idea of tearing it all out and building it back up with the plywood.
Would I get some sound deadening out of the thin (5.2 Luan) layer of plywood under the foam / hardwood ?
