A hobby shop "comments" section about Devcon Contact Cement says that lacquer thinner will remove it. It has no further explanation. For what it's worth, I got the glue from very sticky labels off of a new TV by using Go-Jo, a grease remover hand cleaner. I want to get contact cement off my car without spoiling the car's finish. Used it to reglue some side molding, which stayed for about a year, then let go. I'm going to try the lacquer thinner. Good luck on your project. JP
