We wanted to update our ceiling, which was covered with tile. The tile was glued with a brown glue that was impossible to even scrap off. My husband thought if we scrap what we can, apply mud, sand, blow the texture and all would be good. We want a big knock down look anyways. We are in the process of putting the mud over the glue, but it is still showing through.... Should we continue forward?
