Is it all right to start on basement construction for a single family home during the month of December? Currently, the temperature variation in where I live( Plainsboro, NJ) is from 25F(night time low) to 48F(day time high). My contractor says it is OK to build in this type temperature as he will be addding some chemicals to cure the concrete during these type of weather. Please advise.
