seen the block around for a long time. Woodworker's Supply had some synthetic blocks. I used to use the blocks for polishing bowl turnings and pen blanks on my lathe work. Now I just mix the powder in oil (or sometimes water for a faster cut) and dab felt epoxied to the end of various sizes of dowels into the mix for polishing.
