We just completed a new home and wish I had installed a hot water recirculating pump.
Not only do we have to wait on the hot water,
but occassionally the pvc piping will begin a ticking/knocking noise in the walls and/or between the 1st and 2nd floor.
Is it not possible to install a recirculating system by hooking up to the HW line at the end of each trunk line, up thru the attic then back down to the HW heater ??
