I travel to Europe quite frequently and purchased some 250V lightbulbs. They burn at half the brightness of the rated watts, i.e., 100W 250V appears to be as bright as a 50W 120V.
Can any of you 'lectricians out there tell me if the 250V model producing half the rated wattage is as energy efficient as it corresponding 120V model?
