I live in the city of Chicago, I own a 2 story building app. 120 years old, which is in the process of being remodeled app 90% done I have built an addition on the back where an old porch use to stand. My problem is the addition is done and the building inspector said I need a 1 hour fire rated wall, meaning that the siding and the plywood have to be taken down, is their any fire rated material that can be sprayed, filled, or applied in the walls to conform to fire rated code.
