I recently noticed that the gas furnace in my house always has a small flame even when the temperature control is turned off. Is this normal? I do not remember seeing this before. I have bought this 25-year old house for over a year. I cannot believe that I have not noticed this the whole summer, if it is the way it's supposed to be...
